Of course, me being me, I rushed myself into resuming normal activities. It’s hard not to when you have three children and a household relying on you, but I learned my lesson.
Every mother is different, every baby is different and every labor is different. This time around my pain brought me to the point where I was actually begging for an epidural, something that I didn’t get with either of my other boys. My experience was a little here and there.
As of March 26th we have had a new little man join our family!
I know I haven’t been writing all that often as of late but I assure you that I haven’t gone anywhere. You aren’t that lucky! I also haven’t been absent because the baby is here. I am not that lucky!
That’s right, I am thirty nine weeks pregnant and that means I am also a ticking time bomb. Can you even guess what this baby is being compared to for the thirty nine week baby update? It’s a bit disheartening…
How much patience could a pregnant woman lose, if a pregnant woman had any patience?
My level of impatience is growing faster than I can properly put into words. I’m thirty eight weeks and three days pregnant which (at this very moment) leaves less than two weeks until my expected due date on the 27th.
Up until now I have been relying on the My Pregnancy app to tell me how big my baby is and what’s going on in my belly. Yesterday though, I had a sonogram and we all got a little surprise…
The longest of nights. The toughest of days. The roughest of (my) pregnancies. And there they are throughout thick and thin, always making me smile.
I can’t make guarantees for myself, one never knows, but this might be my third labor without excepting an epidural.
