Parents know that there are times when you have to just laugh, suck it up and deal with the situations your kids get you into. Some are big, some are small, and some are very bubbly.
It was about a week ago when our dish soap mysteriously disappeared and my husband (yes, that happened in my absence) said one of the boys had squirted it all into the sink. A few hours later, thinking nothing of it, I loaded up the dishes and started to run the dishwasher. Imagine my surprise when I came into the kitchen and saw bubbles oozing out of the machine.
As it would turn out the dish soap had also made its way into the dishwasher, which didn’t go over well. After spreading the suds across the apartment floors three times I finally beat the bubbles and, to top it off, the entire house was sparkling and citrusy.
**Unrelated: I hope that you all understand my absence during the weeks that led up to our wedding. I’m back now and I have so much to share with all of you! Keep your eyes peeled for the next post and as always, thanks for reading.
